There are many flavours available! If you have something specific in mind, please get in touch. If you're looking for some inspiration, here are some options. (Please note, not all flavours, particularly those with cream-cheese fillings, are suitable for highly decorated, iced cakes which require a stable foundation and cannot be refrigerated. Please contact Fiona for advice on which cakes are suitable for specific projects.)

  • Vanilla sponge soaked with vanilla syrup, layered with raspberry/strawberry preserve and vanilla buttercream

  • Lemon sponge soaked with lemon and limoncello syrup, layered with lemon curd and lemon or lime buttercream, or raspberry meringue buttercream

  • Orange sponge soaked with orange and Grand Marnier syrup, layered with orange marmalade and orange buttercream or chocolate ganache

  • Orange and almond sponge layered with vanilla buttercream, orange buttercream or chocolate ganache (Gluten-Free, and also Dairy-Free if layered with a dairy-free filling)

  • Rich dark chocolate cake layered with one or a combination of the following:

    • chocolate ganache

    • vanilla buttercream

    • mocha buttercream

    • peanut butter buttercream

    • salted caramel

    • hazelnut praline meringue buttercream

    • raspberry ganache

    • raspberry meringue buttercream

  • Carrot cake soaked with citrus syrup, layered with lemon or orange buttercream

  • Chocolate and vanilla marble cake soaked with vanilla syrup, layered with vanilla buttercream

  • Blueberry and buttermilk cake with blueberry conserve and vanilla cream-cheese frosting

  • Cookies and Cream cake with Oreo cream-cheese frosting

  • Tiramisù cake – coffee sponge soaked with a coffee syrup, layered with mascarpone frosting and coffee buttercream

  • Spicy gingerbread cake layered with a zingy lemon cream-cheese frosting

  • Light vanilla chiffon sponge filled with vanilla meringue buttercream and a cherry compote (or other preserve of your choice)

  • Pistachio sponge with pistachio and white chocolate buttercream filling (additional cost of £5 - £15, depending on size of cake)

Prices
The cost of a bespoke celebration cake varies widely depending on the size and level of detail of the creation. Each design is so unique that it is not possible to give accurate pricing details here – this will require an initial email consultation and exchange of ideas. However, to give you a very rough indication of costs please see the information below for a simply finished buttercream or ganache cake, and view the slideshow below of some of my completed projects to see the cost of that specific design.

Simply finished buttercream/ganache cake (approx. 5” high) with, for example, piped buttercream, meringues and/or chocolate details (add approximately £20 - 30 more for the addition of sugarpaste/fondant):

  • 6” (8 - 10 servings) = £85

  • 8” (10 – 16 servings) = £105

  • 10” (16 – 25 servings) = £145

Please note, cake toppers, flowers and other decorations may incur an additional charge. Availability is limited: please get in touch asap to place an order. Delivery and set-up will incur an additional cost (please enquire for fee, dependent on your location). Collection of your cake from Ely, Cambridgeshire, can be arranged if you wish to avoid the delivery charge.
